Hi Bob, Kat and thread!!!
Good news...sort of!!!....I just did a little research , and I find that NAVR isn't really doing bad under the circumstances...I researched the chart profiles of several internet stocks, including the high flyers...They have all been hit since the 19th...The big money has targeted the internets since then, and everything is down...All internet stocks have the same, almost identical, downward chart profile since the 19th...Obviously a selling (or short selling) campaign by the big boys...The negativity is not due to bad news on any of the stocks...Just an intensive selling pressure campaign...

going forward i doubt that this IPO (if and when it happens) will run up NAVR dramatically. i think fundamental analysis of net stocks is now in vogue (what are the earnings?). couple that with NAVR being low on everyone's radar for several reasons ('unstellar' sales, lack of PR, lack of brand presence) and i think NAVR running to 25 after the S1a will be a reach, certainly thru the summer. (i don't care to guess what the market dynamics will be after 9/99). someone earlier suggested a buyout instead of an IPO. that's possible altho i wonder if the outstanding debt wud discourage that. i think i'll stand pat thru 6/15 and then look at the status and market conditions. maybe then i'll trim my holdings altho at ~15 that means taking a loss. but that's where the current situation has brought me: i'll consider a small loss to free up money that i can use productively elsewhere and to offset the possibility the IPO may not happen until a more favorable climate returns. (i wonder how a substantial delay, say >9/99 wud affect debt service?)

Country bob
You are right,,,BNBN IPO today was the last straw
for me today...If IPO popped I would have stayed longer,,
I wait to see what would happen,,No big deal,,, Tomorrow we have
DLJ's IPO which I believe will be an other dud..WCAP's IPO JUNO is priced tonight for tomorrow..WCAP moved from about 28 to 36 in last
couple of days and today it dropped to close @ 25+..I don't expect much from JUNO.With there last IPO, WCAP went to 60 +,,,PTEK has an IPO soon....and they are down also. FNCH has E-Loan soon,,,there are
down...When DBCC/MKTW ran,,Inets were high fliers,,,,They are not
now..Times are a changing...Plus that fact that we are no getting
suport from NAVR...They pulled this dam thing once before because
of market conditions and market conditions are not getting any
better...NAVR with out the IPO is what? The risk are getting higher..
I just don't see the money coming into the market to turn it around
yet....Anyway, that is my thinking..You might say that all the back
door IPOs all have different values and they do but I'm thinking over all..and conditions...If I see any good info as I roam over the
threads, I post it...
Best of luck to all of you..
