Hi george, I thought bottom to be at 55 as twice in the past.Wasn't surprised to see a shake below into the 54 range as it would be effective to create an " oh sh*t " fear factor.Volatility being the key word.Had sneaky suspicion 50 would psyche out the world and won't really be surprised.I am mostly a small cap investor and this is my first attempt at a blue chip.

Make no mistake there are a lot of people bailing- but I've casually observed Intel cranking 10 points in 2-3 days. So my guess is psychological support is busted - time for a quick turn or this market probably goes to 9975 (40 day ma) and psychlogically tough to ride. JMHO

I'm watching :msft ibm intc for tech leadership and specfically capital equip mfr. amat nvls ter and my favorite Cohu which quite surprisingly is up and by no mistake a small cap. I do think small caps will reign - however, no large move without big cap leadership and that is what makes me think a quick turn . I think its time to have the" Mother of all summer Rally's. I have no doubt that it will require the squeezing of a hole lot of bears who are real sure we've got a Big Kahuna coming and then the real top will occur. BWDIK
