Kap,

I sold a ton of INTC last week at an average of $59 after holding it for 12 years. I will start buying back in the low $30, unless ASPs break down through $170 by the Q3. In that case there is no bottom to this stock.

Don't you think that Xeon/server sales provide a pretty good buffer to counter the plummeting desktop margins? I have a hard time seeing it get below $40.

You must be lying to us. I find it impossible to believe that you have been a holder of this security for 12 years. (are you sure it wasn't 1.2 years?)

Anyone who held this stock from 1987 (a really scary time for Intel) to today has been through many more scary periods of doubt about: PC growth, low-end boxes, NCs, Kurlak-end-of-world calls, recession fears, ASP scares, soft quarters, etc... AND I've never heard those long term holders talk about "I'll buy it back [at half of current price]"

You are a either a fraud or one of the most remarkably unique investors I've ever encountered - and I've encountered thousands of investors in Intel.

regards,
