Yes, the suit against CheckFree was not a good decision by Intuit management. Of course, this thread knew that the day Intuit announced the suit. And Now we see 180 degree turn in Quicken.com, after dragging their feet for a year, all of a sudden they're scrambling to beat Yahoo! Finance into EBPP.

>>>In a sign that Intuit is branching out to increase the number of bills it can present, Mr. Harris said it recently signed letters of intent to work with International Billing Services, a subsidiary of USCS International Inc., and Princeton Ecom. Both companies help billers format electronic statements.

Does this really matter to CKFR? My understanding is CKFR does not, and does not plan to, derive revenues from bill presentment, only the payment. They will, however, consolidate bill presentment functions to facilitate the adoption of the payment side. Is this correct? If so, let ECOM and anyone else present bills, just so long as CKFR gets their $4/mo plus transaction fees for taking care of the payment.
