Agreed wholeheartedly. BTW, I'm pretty sure the 15-minute-window-messages are not searchable since they are not added to the search index table until they are committed. Searches don't parse the message database, but rather an index thereof. Too much overhead otherwise.

Just one last comment. It seems to me that the 15 min edit window, however convenient to you, can be replaced, as I suggested , by simply reposting. On the other hand, there is no replacement that I can see for the VERY useful ability to search the messages realtime. So, we have a little inconvenience for you being more important than a dead end for me, and I suspect a lot of others as well.
