Hi Scott:

In my business (radio), PR is a priority. I have had a lot of experience in putting together advertising promotional campaigns for companies like Coca Cola and American Airlines. To capitalize on the effect of the PR, you tell people you are going to do something, you do it and then you tell them you did it. Great promotions are put together that way. You have to create a "bigger than life" effect. That is what we need right now. Personally, I think Dell needs an advertising over-haul. I think he ought do do his own commercials. He sells the company better than anyone. JMO. LW

This could be one of those quantum leaps that, taken by Dell, would almost certainly leave their competitors suckin' wind at the side of the road.

And everyone on SI would be better informed because of it.
