I wouldn't rule out a smaller, strategic acquisition -- of a firm like a Network Appliance. Yet, DELL prefers to partner. The virtual integration model will serve DELL well as they could roll out expanded Telecom / ISP services to current and future customers. Don't ignore this possibility. DELL is a marketing machine and will leverage its strengths, build smart partnerships and offer additional value to customers. If DELL does something like this, they'll execute well. IMO, it could be a VERY big growth initiative.
