Paul, thanks, I do agree with pretty much every thing you said. Re <<The key is CUSTOMERS.>> I am not sure if you are talking about OEM's or the end users. If a tier one OEM picks up K7, I think Compaq is in the bag, there will be enough end users (at the retail level) to digest 500K per quarter of ASP of around $400. I am not convinced that K7 will not have "observable performance enhancements over AMD's competition." as you say. Maybe so, but we'll have wait to know for sure. Granted that K7 will have a lot of baggage (I don't think that thermal management is an issue, but we have already beaten that to death), but the possibility remains that it could be a significant success. IMO K7 does not need to be a big success for AMD to hit $40. If K7 is a big failure (possible) then AMD will be a single digit stock. Mani
