I'm afraid this basely fiddling doesn't fit Milosevic's mindset: he kind of crossed a political point of no return.... After all, he will have to cope with his own public future/survival in Serbia and he is accountable to the Serbian people for all this Kosovo mess! Do you think that Serbia will just let him away with it? NATO troops all over Kosovo --with a few token Russians, the Albanian comeback, the destruction of the country, and an amnesty for Milosevic --and that's it!? Such a sweet retirement might have worked for Karadzic and Mladic who were, somehow, successful in squeezing out a fair deal for the Bosnian-Serbs but I don't see what did the Serbs gain in the Kosovo war...
