1825 GMT, 990527 - Russian diplomatic and military sources revealed that Russia could provide as many as 10,000 troops for a Kosovo peacekeeping force. Interfax quoted sources as saying that, "Today it can be said confidently that Russian participation will be weighty and significant." The core of the Russian force would be composed of airborne troops currently involved in peacekeeping operations inside and outside of the former Soviet Union. The exact size of the peacekeeping force will be determined by budgetary constraints, Interfax quoted sources as saying.

I don't have a problem with Russian participation in a peacekeeping force. They have had a brigade in Bosnia for several years. They could preserve Serb interests in the region without requiring the presence of FRY military forces.

It also would create an environment where Russia would secure an active political role there, thus assurring their role on the world stage is also preserved.

by the end of the year, US will be hit with biogens and/or nukes; people in the us will refuse to believe and will continue to listen to clinton - village idiots.

This is an interesting statement on your part. Why would someone Nuke us when they could face massive retaliation from those thousands of warheads we possess??

And why would biological weapons be used by a nation when there exists the possibility that they may not be able to control a global outbreak??

Biological weapons are quite the genie in the bottle, and we have retaliatory capability in that regard as well.

Regards,

Ron
