The information I got is very reliable since my friend is
working at USIC in Taiwan. He told me they have been able
to keep the DD (Defect density) of their .25 wafers at 0.5
or even a lower number since the 2nd half of Apr. This
number used to be greater than 1.5 for the .25 logic
products running in their fab for most of the time in 98.
It was a much higher number in Feb this year when there was
a yield crash in their Fab lasted for a few weeks in Feb.

If we assume XLNX's wafers could yield at the same level as
other .25 wafers at USIC, then XLNX should have enough
parts to ship for this quarter.
