Dave and Tom - These are the kind of discussions that make a confirmed lurker out of me. The impact of 24/7 trading will have to be world-wide and huge but it's hard for me to imagine the likely and probably unintended consequences. Consider the economic impact of the humble horseless carriage at the turn of the last century. Perhaps world markets will become more efficient, but I doubt that they will digest everything that can move prices any time soon. I sure would hate to see a smoothing of volatility. Then we'd all need a new strategy. Meanwhile, I'll just sit here and stew in my own juices until El Husband comes home for dinner. ka
