I do not mean to imply that they should be shipping 180nm volumes in July. I am assuming they have proved it out internally and substantially increase 180nm wafer starts.

As for the partial shrink, I take it to mean 0.22 but I wouldn't bet on it.

A partial shrink would mean taping out for the new process with the old database, and modified design rules.

A complete shrink would most likely involve a complete relayout of the chip, which is much more time consuming.
