Interesting thought. When Cook was in SF, was about the same time CUST went from 50 to 90. Somebody there liked what they saw.

Crystal,

Good post. I think your comments are well taken. It is amazing to me that folks will short a company they don't understand. Buying long I can understand. After all, one's loss is limited to the amount they invest. Shorts may argue that they can draw a line in the sand, and, well they should, but so many do not. I saw horrendous losses in AMZN and Yahoo!, primarily from people who wanted to put the investments in a box (I know I tried to for a short stint) and speak of such esoteric concepts as "value" and "reasonable price to earnings".

Each time the stock surges we will find folks who will insist that it can go no higher. Trouble is, it can and probably will....

It will likely be the shorts stop losses (those wise enough to put a limit on their conviction) which will lead to the next 10 point surge...and probably soon!

CB,

Those were the same companies, who were industry leaders upgrading 8bit, 16bit, 32bit ...
Those were the same companies, who were industry leaders, building
"80086, 80186, 80286, 80386 (first multitask)
..................80486 start of "pentiums" 80586
..................Pentium, Pentium 2, Pentium 3"

These will be the same VRSN, ... and others leaders in this industry, who will take it through the next steps.

CUST has no experience in this industry, no employees to develop or support. And now it turns out that even their product, which has to be seen yet, has been already stolen by competition.

What makes you think they will be winners? Why do you want to pay boatload of money for something that you haven't seen yet, from someone who has no experience or credibility in this industry?
