Jim, The last i heard was that there were no talks, at least as far back as about 2 weeks ago. Publically both sides decline to make any comments about whether there are any talks under way. Normally that would be a good sign but they had stated that no public comments of any talks would be made--even if they are not been taking place.
The only thing to watch out for is rumors of a possible settlement--that alone could push this stock about $5 very quickly.

Maybe they have started talking now---who knows?

The negotiation for a settlement is definitely still going on . The news today said that there is no chance to reach a settlement before the resumption of the trial This means
the negotiation is still going on , and just a matter of time a settlement will be reached. I expect one to two months or may be even earlier.
