You know something?

You sent me a P-Mail about patterns and I replied about 6 hours ago,

I replied again about a half hour ago.

I replied again a minute ago,

Silicon Investor is not active on my other machine yet it is okay through this one and yet they share the same cable modem. This makes no sense to me but I guarantee you this, I am not typing that response a fourth time.

Now before Fred tells me what a lousy typist I am, I want to clear just one thing up.

I play myself out as a computer illiterate and by many standards I am just that.

I learned Load-and-Go using Hollerith Cards on an RCA Spectra 70 in 1969. It was two stories high. The language of Choice was Fortran IV. Deader than Latin, these days.

I bought an Apple ][ Plus in 1978 and upgraded it to 64K and it then had as much power as that machine in 1969.

Over the years I lost interest in machines and forgot a hell of a lot about computers, because I didn't need to know anymore. They are very User-Friendly.

My point is, I have been using them for thirty years. If I can have a problem, anyone can gave a problem. I'm not a Compleat Idiot. All I am trying to do is Send Data. If the Cloud or the computer on the other end has a problem with that it's not necessarily my fault. Very often, I get kids who are on the other end who presume it is the User's Fault.

I have kids of my own. Believe me, it's never their fault. Sorry Scott. Cannot answer the P-Mail.....the very fact that I had to boot another computer and log on through the SAME modem and have NO trouble posting this message just hacked me off no end.
