Hi Larry, My guess is that the IRA account with QQQ will require you to soften up either the Cash Reserve or the SAFE values. I guess we could look at the 1998 drop in the Nasdaq 100 Index and use it as a guide for setting the maximum Cash Reserve needed for the account. If you can go back to 1990 data, see what the percent drop from peak to bottom was for that index that year. That would be a better guide.

If you chose to keep the cash reserve "fat", then maybe shrinking the SAFE values would encourage a bit more trading activity.

The real test is whether you feel the "hold zone" is a practical one relative to price history of the N-100.
