I purchased my first shares of ATG in 1996 from First United Equities (yep, I admit it) for 14.50 each , and have amassed a considerable long position in the stock over the past 2 3/4 years. Most of my shares were purchased over a year ago, many at sub-3 and sub-2 prices. Only a small percentage were purchased in 1999. I also own 10,000 warrants purchased last year for .45 each." This disclaimer is straightforward and accepted by me but why are you being evasive with "what's the point" when I refer to a poster who posts "ask astn why with --first united--June Forbes" Well I did go beyond "what's the point" and checked this out and found Forbes lists First United Equities in the list of WORST brokerages in the United States---as of June 1997 they listed 7 in what they call their Hall of Shame and they are Meyers Pollock Robbins,Duke& Co,Biltmote Securities,FIRST UNITED EQUITIES,LT Lawrence and Toluca Pacific Securities--- the Forbes writer goes on to say "if a broker calls from one of these firms hang up" I just throw this out for all to consider in their own way Max90
