Well Greenspan didnt force the brokers to do what they just did to us....or do you think the government asked them to?
And he certainly didnt make the price of Dell fall by 40% from its high (55-35 or less).
So I still think the brokers are unethical. And some of these latest ploys...saying you are too heavily weighted in a fine company like DELL so raising maintanance on that...suddenly calling msft, csco, etc internet stocks and raising maintanance on that as someone on this thread told us yesterday was just done...frankly it stinks. If the brokers no longer want us to use margin then I guess they ought to set up new accounts that way. But changing in midstream is rotten.
I stick with that opinion.
