Hi Fox,
No I did not have a bad experience with Waterhouse. I use Waterhouse for all my stock investments and for Mutual Funds that are NTF funds. NTF stands for No Transaction Fee.
UOPSX is not a NTF fund with Waterhouse or any other broker. That means that you have to pay a transaction fee when you buy or sell it.
Profunds is the management company that runs the the PRO funds.
You can reach them by phone at 1-888-PROFNDS or on the net at profunds.com. Since they are the Money Managers of the PRO funds, if you deal directly with them, they do not have to pay a middleman (Waterhouse etal) and you make a little more.
UOPSX and UOPIX are exactly the same funds. The S stands for Service shares and the I stands for Investor shares. Over a 1 year period you would earn 1% more with I shares.

Hi Bob, Low and behold, the 1977 copy of the Lichello book arrived in the mail this weekend! Thank you very much! It is in such great condition that the original owner must not have used AIM very long!!!

I was surprised that the title cover was the same as the later book that I bought in about 1985. Mine was a "Second edition" however and had the Q&A chapters in it. I guess it wasn't until the third edition that the cover was changed to the newer dark cover.

I'll have to look at each page and see if any have any secret notes that I missed on first glance. Maybe a whole new strategy is there and I just need to find it!

Thanks again for the thoughtfulness of finding and sending it to me. I continue to mend quite rapidly. Took a ride up to Elkhart Lake this weekend with the family but passed on the chance to water ski!!

Best regards, Tom
