PaineWebber's analyst reiterated his strong buy on WCOM partly "in advance of the analysts' meeting." Bernie and company have been maintaining a low profile for a long time while AT&T has been gathering all the "positive press" with its acquisitions in cable. With WCOM's stock get 'nicked' a bit in the past month or so (and shareholders negative reaction to the "no stock split" decision at the annual meeting), I expect Bernie will be loaded for bear at that June 2 meeting. At least I hope so. Very long WCOM.
