Vman: Rumor here at the Cape is that T7 is sliding to the right due to satellite problems. Talking about 2 months slip.

The time honored game of crawling under someone else's umbrella is also going on. One party is forced to acknowledge a slip and everyone else is happy to use that time to fix the problems that they would have had to stand up and admit had the first party not had a problem. First one to blink gets the blame, while the others breath a sigh of relief and fix their problems.

Atlas III, as a first timer, is going slower than all the schedulers planned (imagine that!) so a payload slip would enable Atlas not take the schedule hit.

Time to fish or cut bait. There are enough big fish in the pond, all that needs to be done is make the bait inviting.
