Jon,
It wasn't a threat. I think your mind set is simply too confrontational. You mentioned you had a financial website yet i could make no tell of what or where by your name, your SI logon etc. I have heard of a good number of such sites and have good relationships with many. I wasnt sure which one yours is. You are claiming that we have erroneously sent an email and I cant verify to whom the email was eroneously sent because your info is not available.

As a side note, I would thing that any site that discusses, mentions or promotes financial securites is infact subject to full disclosure. From a legal standpoint, let alone a moral standpoint. I think legal mambo jambo like whether or not someone is subject is exactly why I gave up law. Again, i'm not trying to be confrontational, we're just discussing this.

Anyway, a few last points. No, I do NOT farm this task out to anyone. We are a small shop, about 15 people, I manage the firm. There are a few areas I will never farm out and handling the EOD and weekly newsletters is one of them. I specifically put the components of the email list together, and run the processing. Quite simply, I would have blown it and noone else. We dont make excuses at Yamner.

I agree entirely that it is entirely my responsibility to ensure that the lists are accurate, yet I can not prevent someone from adding someone to the list. After it occurs and you tell me, I can add you to a remove/filter list so you shouldnt get it ever again. Again, I still have no idea what group you belong to.

I went and looked at the add logs and I will tell you how I thought you were added. There is some newsletter group that sends around updates/recommendations on small stocks. They have me on their list. Every so often, who ever handles that list does NOT place everyone in a BCC, rather a CC...someone could have added the words Add or Subscribe in the first sentence and in sending it to my tdesk email box, it added everyone in the cc list.
That is, after all what a add/subscribe, function does. It lets someone subscribe by simply sending such an email.

Again, I apologize if it was bothersome. Your statements seem to indicate you had been getting them for some time. I simply would ask that you send me your email address and I will remove you pronto. Again, I still dont have the email address in question. Until you give me that, i can not remove you.

Again, my apologizes. Send the email with your address and you shall be removed immediately and added to the remove list. Lets spend our time more productively.

I would still love to know the name/url of your site. Perhaps there would be an opporutnity to present the site in our newsletter if it has value for my readers.

Regards,
Steve
