bobby, intermediate term the trend is down

short term I can see the possibilty of the market trying to hold 1284, the highs from earlier this year, but the major intermediate term is down.

you can see it in various oscillators, both a-d based and price based.

One of them is TRIX: check it out.

Bobby, most of stocks I'm looking at (CSCO, MSFT, AOL, etc, and major indices) remind OSX index and NE, RIG, etc about 1 year ago. Daily indicators were in the oversold condition and gave impression of bottoming out. But weekly indicators were in the mid-range and pointing down. These stocks lost between 50-70% in the next few months. I do not project that kind of move by any means, but until weekly indicators get oversold or reverse risk/reward ratio will favor shorts.
