It is also fascinating that the committee was willing to base such sweeping conclusions on a source that can only be considered suspect; one has to wonder if political convenience was involved. Makes you wonder who is actually being manipulated by the Chinese. No way of knowing at this point what agendas are actually involved, and what the actual degree of penetration was. But I doubt that the situation is as clear as ideologues on either side would have us believe.
