Nato is enforcing no law because it is flouting international law. <<We created this flawed system of enforcement and world "government", thus it is our right as citizen nations to act when the official channels fail>>

This argument is porous in the extreme. We seem to be justifying this action on the basis of a 'balance of atrocites'. In other words the Serbs have committed more atrocities than the Croats, Bosnians, KLA, so we ignored those and act now - never mind that the potential disaster we used to justify our action is now there on an undreamed of scale. I hope all the legal actions against all parties are prosecuted - and then if the ones against us go against us we will see if we are countries of the law after all. The easiest way to justify going against the UN Charter is to attack the UN. It's like saying 'we like that decision of the World Court, but we didn't like that one - so let's ignore the World Court' And what do you mean by 'world government'? Is this a catch phrase for neo imperialism?

Regards,

There is NO DOUBT that Serbs have committed atrocities and
attempted to destabilize their neighboring govts, both of which are violations of
international law.

There is no doubt that the Serbs have committed atrocities.

There is a great deal of doubt whether they attempted to destabilize their neighboring governments, at least before the bombing started.

And there is no doubt that they did NOT attempt to desabilize any Nato country, and that the argument that Nato acted in defense of Nato countries is a flat out blatant lie.
