don,
ibm is no longer a major player in the pc business. they were, but as you know they were knocked off the throne by cpq. dell is trying to unseat cpq. and gtwy is coming on strong too. ibm's pc business is tired and losing every year ($1 billion lost last year).

michael jordan got tired too. that is why he quit playing and retired. he has greener pastures and so does ibm.

Don, "long and not happy", don't tell me you added at $74 on top of the $78? That storm will pass also, IMHO, if you were to go short, just be nimble, you could easily be left behind when the "crescendo" of box makers show RMBS driven engines in the next few months.
