TORONTO (Dow Jones)--Dion Entertainment Corp.'s (T.DIO) stock has risen 30% Monday, likely in anticipation the company will soon announce news about its plans to establish a televised bingo game show, Leo Dion, the company's president and chief executive, told Dow Jones.
In Toronto trading Monday, Dion Entertainment's shares are up 1.05 to 4.50, on about 1.6 million shares.
Mr. Dion said the company has no announcements planned this week, but expects a deal regarding the televised bingo game show to be completed by the end of Dion Entertainment's second quarter, which ends June 30. The stock has been relatively quiet lately, he said, noting that anticipation of news about the game show, which should be the company's next big announcement, may be getting investors interested in Dion Entertainment again. Investors may be speculating that Dion Entertainment will announce the news shortly before its annual meeting, which is scheduled for June 17, Mr. Dion said. However, Dion Entertainment isn't trying to time the deal to correspond
with the meeting, he said. The bingo game show will be similar to other televised game shows, but with some audience participation, Mr. Dion said. He declined to elaborate. He declined to comment on speculation on an Internet chat line that Dion
Entertainment is in talks about the game show with Fox Television Network.

I don't think the Scamelotions are going to get too worked up over this concept.
