IBM may have a fast technology. What they are lacking is a fast design to build on that technology.

The base material is still silicon, even at IBM. I think you're referring to the interconnect metal.

Then why are IBM's 0.18 micron Copper Power PC CPUs slower than Intel's Aluminum 0.25 micron Pentium II's & III's ?

Seems you believed all the press releases and learned nothing of the FACTS !
