Gary - IMO, Microsoft bought only 5% of Diaglogic because they knew they would be looked at by the Feds if they purchased anymore. I think the Justice Department is always suspicious when a company with monopoly power, such as Intel, purchases a company in another sector because it raises the suspicion they are trying to leverage their monopoly power into software. This acquisition will give Intel the power to control computer telephony integration which is dangerous for a company who already dominates the semi-conductor sector. Intel obviously wants to sell servers or control the server market.
