I am a general contractor and will fill you in on something.

Drywall installers get paid per sheet used. Having built the same floor plan several times, I have learned that the sheets required is exactly equal to the number of sheets I have delivered to the jobsite. Whether it is 120, 125, or 130, they get it all covered, and manage to "use" all that is available.
