Sam Namaste.

It is not my understanding that xDSL is broadband. I know that AOL has opted for DSL which I am told is different from broadband. The town I live in has @Home and everybody I have spoken with are not happy with @Home. @Home tried to sell me his stuff and he did not know what he was selling.

So my point is that as long as the technology is not there yet, it would be prudent for AOL not to spend any time and money with broadband and leave it to others to do that. Meanwhile, AOL is concentrating on building their user base and it seems like they are concentrating on streaming media.
