Why? In fact, it is. I am Benjamin D. Lunsford. What would steer you to believe otherwise?

Are you about to bring up the fact that Whalehost uses Intel-powered servers? I will admit, we have no plans to use K7-based servers in the future at this time. It is my personal belief, that although the K7 is superior to Pentiums in every way for home use, web hosting customers care about reliability only, and not pure speed in accessing their web pages. Needless to say, thus far the Intel servers have been much more reliable.

Intel chips are made more exactingly and run cooler as a general rule. I think the K7 will make huge dents in Intel's gorilla stance on the home market front, but until we see a quad-K7 server in action, we won't trust it to the customers. And it's not my decision only, Whalehost Enterprises is a democratic company.

As I said in the beginning, I own as much $$$ in Intel stock as I do in AMD, and neither one is that much compared to the rest of my portfolio. I just find it interesting that there are no AMD fans lurking around here, because I feel the market dynamic is about to change.
