Janice, How sad it is that some people are so nasty. I'm not a big fan of law suits but if I were you I'd contact Raging Bull for allowing such post and I'd have them removed or I'd sue them and the people who posted them. There are direct statements that can be seen as threats as I read it and that IS a crime. Also since much of this seems to come from the WN3 law suit, damages against BizNus Y-R would be something I'd seek. A poison tree of sorts for you lawyer types out there. On a personal note, my Mother taught me that to talk about a woman's age is rude and a sure sign of a poor job of parenting. Also on a very personal note my Wife and I deal with her breast cancer. The first thing we both said (at the same time) when she was diagnosed was "boy, and we thought we had problems." There are enough hard times in life without some idiot online saying nasty things about you. I am sorry such, sick"people" make it their mission in life to take pleasure in giving others a hard time. My wish is that you take these "people" on. Let a lawyer explain to them what LIBEL and HARASSMENT means. I'll explain it, "tell the truth or get your a$$ sued off." Free speech doesn't mean saying what ever you feel like saying. The biggest shame about the internet is you can't punch someone in the mouth when they need it. That's why some people act like they do, it is the first time in their little lives that they can get away with acting like idiots and not have someone shut their mouth for them. BLUE

Janice, Such vile "people", aren't they? And so stupid. What an interesting series of posts - I'm surprised that you were so restrained in your responses. IMO, some of those statements are libelous, especially the ones where the poster alleges or implies criminal activity - if not libleous, the sheer number of them could be found to constitute harassment. Take these statements for example: --- I find it humerous the way you talk about convicted felons. Did you forget about your past? The truth is about to be revealed! --- Tell us again why you reside in Italy, I need it for my records.( I know the real reason, why don't you come clean before we embarrass you to numbness. --- I'm not the one who skipped the states and ran to Italy. --- When read individually, there is a possibility that these statements might not be considered libelous. The impression that I am left with after reading the statements as a group, in the context of the RB thread is that you have a criminal past, and that you are on the lam in Italy. The posts themselves use innuendo, and don't come right out and say it, but a judge might decide that the way that I interpreted the posts is the way that the poster intended the posts to be interpreted. Perhaps the posters feel that they are safe from legal retribution from you. In my opinion, there are several possible reasons why they might think this way: - They feel that their statements are sufficiently vague as to not constitute libel, - You have put up with so much crap in the past without resorting to any sort of legal action, so they think that you are not predisposed to settling matters in the courts. - They think that you are afraid to launch proceedings in the USA, because you are dodging the BW process servers. - They really do think that you are some sort of felon on the lam, and would not be able to come to the USA. - They think that you would have to prove actual damage to your reputation. I'm not suggesting that you to sue them, that's really your decision to make. I do however find it strange that posters who have participated on threads where libel has been a major topic of discussion at times would make those statements, thereby exposing themselves to a possible lawsuits. I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone say that you were the shooter on the grassy knoll, especially now that your ties to taht Communist political party in Italy have been "revealed" #reply-9856967 LOL OTC:BB investors of the world Unite - you have nothing to lose but your life savings!
