Funny, I was going to mention exactly that sort of thing as a negative characteristic of Yahoo. Any employee who wants to hype his own company can: almost any public company has some real achievements and things to be proud of. Any employee who wants to dump on his own company can: sausage making is never pretty, and any company has some really ugly stories that make you wonder why they're still in business. Often they're the same story, slanted in different ways.

Without knowing an anonymous poster's agenda, I would really question whether acting on his "insider information" was just a way to line his pockets at the expense of my own.
