By the way, in keeping with the "credit where credit is due" philosophy, I thought Mark Haynes and Joe Kernan of CNBC were great this AM when discussing the most recent trashing of Amazon.com and Alan (sp?) Abelson's ridiculous column in the this past weekend's edition of Baron's. They were great and hilarious. David Faber was on "wuss" patrol during their dialogue refusing to express any opinion but I still like hiim and think he adds value. I don't own Amazon.com but appreciated the guts that it took to take on an icon like Baron's. Mike

OTOT Craig; INKTOMI. A pure play on the internet. I don't follow INKT in any thread. I just follow it personally since the IPO last year. I follow the news. I think it is one of the best kept secrets. The following is one of the best recent articles. It has most of what you need to know. She was one of the first to get in in the IPO. She is quite knowledgable in telecommunications and bandwidth, the very thing we talk about here. In the NN thread this is looked at primarily from the telcos viewpoint. This is because NN newbridge.com is the premiere maker of the biggest, best, meanest gg, telco switches; the giant famous ATM switches which are the backbone, hardware switches for the net. INKT would be the equivalent software switch. Both make excellent investments IMO because of the technology that they have and the " difficulty of entry ". NN makes the backbone switches for the net in all of England, Can, Switzer, etc, 250 countries, 10 000 clients. It has been selected by AT&Ts it's internet networks manager for their 3000 prospective business clients. ATMs connect cities, countries continenets. It is down because of Asia and other reasons best followed in the NN SI thread.
