AW,

Kinda scary how ML will do BillPay from their site. Imagine if the brokerages become a place where people keep the majority of their assets instead of banks??? I think we are seeing the tip of the iceberg, the e-generation is what we are becoming. What happens when your cable box allows you to pay bills??? CKFR will probably have 100 million subscribers by then. Whenever I am feeling down, I realize that e-everything is on the horizon, like it or not. What makes me be able to sleep at night is that my Grandfather who is 76 years old just got a computer a month ago and has already signed up for e-banking through Chase, and I didn't say a word to him, he told me "the nice young lady at the window told him about it"

The possibilities grow everyday.

Regards,

Rob

They wouldn't slap a "hold" on us, would they?

No matter how good the prospects are for this company, I have finally come to expect the unimaginable. It feels like a test of one's will to own the Rodney of internet companies. It's strange because to me this is a rare company that epitomizes "internet value." The business model is ideal for transition to the web. The product is electronic. The economies of scale will be tremendous. The barrier to entry is huge. They already have a long list of exclusive contacts/partners no upstart could hope to enjoy. The infrastructure is in place, tested and ready for scale. And they are profitable...Probably deserves a Market Performer.

I guess I will get my popcorn, sit down in front of that window they built into the side of Genesis, and start watching the money go by. The rest of the world will figure it out, and I suppose I can wait.

>>>They wouldn't slap a "hold" on us, would they?

I've heard from some "so called" wall street pros that its not uncommon for the market makers to short a stock prior to a secondary being offered to make the offering price more attractive. I wouldn't be surprised to see ML start coverage at a hold and update to a buy after the secondary is issued. The other possibility which I think may be more likely is that ML will delay coverage until after the secondary is released and then start coverage at a buy.
