Merril Lynch must have hired all of Schwabs people away, or
they are starting up a bigger west coat operation for the evening
trading on the NAS in the fall.

Besides the last one posted, there was the one below and on for a Director of Interactive Education...I figured Alien was a shoe in for that one, so I didn't post.

notice that the fund admin job below actually requires on to have some qualifications, whereas the trading director could just be 'familiar with equities' lol

RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage day to day Fund operations, Fund accounting and financial

Maintain current knowledge of related Fund requirements in terms of disclosures,

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. MBA or
CPA desirable but not required. Ten plus years direct experience administering Mutual
Funds, to include fund accounting, financial reporting, tax and operational experience.
Thorough knowledge of Regulation SX, GAAP, Subchapter M, including complex
instruments and transations, such as MBS, Futures, Swaps, Securities Lending, Borowing,
etc. Thorough knowledge of 1933, 1934, and 1940 Acts, Investment Advisor Act of 1940,
complex IRS fund compliance issues. Strong project management skills. Strong written and
oral communications skills.
