Serious issues involved if you ever want to transfer out of E-Trade to another broker. I have been with E-Trade since 1996 and am now going through an extremely painful transfer to another broker. Lesson learned. Sell all your stocks first, take out the cash, and send it to the new broker. Do not even think about trying a transfer. If you attempt a transfer, your E-Trade account will be locked up for over a week and you can not trade. I have made other transfers in the past and have not missed a day of trading.

E-Trade has overall been good to me on other matters and they have improved greatly on execution times.

I am not bashing your stock. I own other online broker stocks and think they all have a great future. Just trying to give helpful information.

Good Luck
