Fast Eddie, A question for you on the TYPE of accounts.

You posted that the type 3 was for shorting, and my memory was that it is type 5.

So I went to a ticket where I was foolish enough to short YHOO last year, and it WAS in my type 5 account.

Can you clarify what type 3, 4 5 7 6 are used for, in light of this YHOO ticket that I am looking at?

What's Type 4 "legal" sued for?

Thanks!

Colin

FE,

I believe they call T-6 margin for Shorts, check with your broker that is what Everen says.
