Thanks Tom. What you say makes good sense. The discussion here revolves around whether or not other memory devices can provide that same performance or is RamBus the only choice for future needs. It would seem that other devices can provide the same performance but with tradeoffs in pincount. RamBus has it's tradeoffs too in cost and availability.
