Thanks for the insight. many of us are techno-nerds and get into the latest technology widget forgetting that sometimes you just want a phone that works and costs little. I do think that ATT cannot hold onto this rate forever, as they are using the long distance to subsidize the wireless, just the same as Sprint, but the fact is that CDMA offers lowest system costs, so that as Sprint builds out, they will eventually overtake and pass ATT, and on that day, ATT will go with some form of CDMA. Kind of like the Cadillac guys finally being outsold by Lincoln and taking a long look at changing times versus "tradition".
