CB has never said anything about a takeover per se that I am aware of, so I find it doubtful that he or anyone from CS will state definitively "there will be no takeover". I think he or anyone else associated with the company would state something to the effect "we don't comment about rumors..."

i have to disagree... people bought this stock because it could be purchased at less than 1x revenues. some of the momentum may have been created by players interested only in an arb opportunity, but all along the way there has been steady buying by people like me who simply see an undervalued enterprise.
