<I know that if you place an order on the NYSE a couple of
minutes before 3:00 EST the specialist usually sits on it until he sees which direction the market
moves at the Bond closing. >

Really? Get the heck out of here. I never heard of anything like that. What makes you so sure?

Specific issues? Gimme some background on that, I'd love to check it out.

Seems a bit far fetched though. I know you are asking for it if you mess with options after 4 Eastern...any CBOE or AMEX MM will tell you that up front. But a Spec on the NYSE concerning Equities?

I'm not saying your claim is baseless, it's just that I never heard of such a thing and I thought I had heard just about everything at this point. So tell me, once you get a moment; I'd like to run this by some people to see their reaction.

John --

I'm familiar with RGC, PFG and EDF Man ....
I can't fault any of them, yet I still feel the need for an office with real humans to be within a hundred mile radius of me .....

That probably comes from some childhood need to be personally comforted .... maybe one of these days I'll outgrow it and become an adult ...... ggggg

As to your remark about the NYSE, perhaps, but I've been trading there for more than 40 years and I've not noticed it..... of course, back in the old days a day trade was one that got done in a day ...
I've quit the Naz, maybe for good, in the past year for I could detect that I was a minnow swimming with the sharks in that pond...

For some strange reason (most of mine usually are) I find the emini to be just what I need as relates to speed of execution, risk reward ratio, and lots of data available to me to determine potential trades.

Next week, I think I'll open an account with Reifler and give the 9buck trade a whirl.
I'll post to the thread what happens.
