Linda,
>> I never heard anyone compare it to RIMM. Interesting.

There has been some discussion over on Yahoo msg boards under GEMS, (If you can take the ridiculously high noise level over there!)Can't really provide much detail other than to say it tweaked my interest in RIMM some time ago and it is on my watch list. (I do have some GEMS, but have wondered in the past about management.)

Well Linda, I guess we are miserable company for each other. I am one of those saps with a fairly sizable holding of GEMS (between 16 and 20 dollars/share), and who are holding on to this 'wallpaper' in the hopes that Glenayre's management will get their act together and get the company back on track.

See you out here....Dave

Linda:

Things are bound to improve for GEMS. Some one already posted some thing on one alliance, but here is another spin on it.

Incidentally, a quick check on RIMM suggests the market cap is now over a billion bucks. So GEMS have some room to go up from here if the sentiment and the numbers change for the better...
