Either you haven't been in the Bay area very long, or you don't understand real estate prices.. a.k.a
Demand has always outstripped supply in that area.. people loved to live in that area, if they can afford it.

It is getting that same way in the Puget Sound area.

however, the last peak was 87-88, at least in New York, which would put the next peak 18 years later at 2005-06
