Investor call to the president last week:
I called the Raytec office on Friday and spoke to the president to obtain an update on the progress of Shrinkguard. He told me that the company is manufacturing inventory and would commence selling the product within 60 days. I ask if he could name who would be buying the product. He said they are working with twelve selected store groups but choose not to name them. He cautioned me that these store groups would evaluate the shrink savings over a 2-3 month period prior to rolling out a significant program, however Raytec felt very confident based on shrink savings from all our previous tests. I enquired as to the pricing. His response was the product was being sold in conjuction with a food safety program and would be priced individualy for each store group as these groups are considered some of the largest store groups in the US. He did say they were working with margins in excess of 250%. I asked about other product releases and his response was they were not prepared to disclose further products at this time. I asked about some of the rumours as to a potential investment banking firm that I have read on the internet. His response was the company is focused on growing the business through new products such as Shrinkguard. He added rumours are just rumours and your can't build a company on rumours. (mission/sh)

The rumor is that both sides now have basically agreed to all terms so, I assume a news release will be produced by Raytec imminently. I thought it would be this week but now it looks more like early next week. Cheers!
