The battle lines are drawn...and the FUD will get louder and louder, and even more aggressive, as DRDRAM gets closer to market. A lot of people have a tremendous amount of money (not to mention reputations and careers) riding on RMBS' failure. Buckle up. This ain't gonna be easy. Oh, and don't be surprised if -- when all is said and done -- we find some of the pc133 and ddr cabal money behind the worst of the FUD. The irony, of course, is that INTC is probably, and unwittingly, financing this hateful campaign.

The first problem was the pricing structure

Dave pointed out that we have heard this before with SDRAM, look where it is now.

the second was technical

Tell us more!

the third was that Direct Rambus was a new technology and therefore had no evolutionary history.

A lot of new technology falls into this category, does this mean it doesn't work? Weak arguement to me...

He also says they will support DRDRAM if need be, that says a lot as well. We'll see!
