I own APM, but haven't seen the tender offer. Usually these things take longer to get to me as the stock is in street name. Does the tender list the location of Growth Capital Corporation? Perhaps it's time to do some digging in edgar filings to see if the group holds reportable positions in any other companies.

I'm like you, I got the e-mails & phone calls and I decided at the last minute to take them up on the offer to buy my shares. I'm not sure when it will be effective but will keep you posted as to the results. I'll be suprised if the price stays lower than the $4 I'll supposedly get.

Possible answer is that they intend to buy enough of APM that they expect it to drive up the price beyond what they are offering. Why they would want that much of APM is anyones guess.

We also got a call from our brokerage, Scottrade--the first time they've ever called for anything like that. He also professed not to know what the deal was.
