KG4, this is a frustrating period enough with out our aiming our guns at each other. That shot at Robert was unwarranted.

Chill and keep your powder dry for real targets.

Man, you are losing control...however, what you said could be true. No market bottom is formed on graudual declining days. Right now people are buying low and selling lower. The true bottom is formed on the day that DOW is down 500 points and Nasdaq 150 points. It could be a intraday reversal. I think that day should come soon, hopefully this month. THe market sentiment is already bad and all it needs is a little flame that ignite the fire. Could be the employment data, CPI number, or the Fed meeting. Go full margin on the day that MSFT down 6, YHOO! & AOL down 20...then it's all blue sky again.

The weak hands have to be wiped off (Fidelity is still busy issuing margin calls these days) before any material rebound can be seen.

Well, I can see you did catch a lot of flack from your post to Robert, although I don't find you as irritating as the other posters. Just think everybody's nerves are a little frayed here with the decline in our portfolios. I appreciate your take on things because threads need a variety of input. However, the jabs at Steeny were really unnecessary. Posters are continually asking him for his opinion, and he graciously repeats the facts as he sees it. He's been a voice of reason for quite some time, and has helped me lock in gains more than once, or wait out an entry point.
A little diplomacy goes a long way... Most of us are here to support each other.
Changing the subject, what's your take on the techs and nets being oversold at this point?

Where on earth do people like you come from?

I never said I was an expert.
I don't get paid for my advice and you are not my customer.
I never asked you to read my posts.
I pay to leave my opinion.
This is a free country last time I checked.
I don't trade stocks. I buy and hold for a while or at least 6 monthsto a year or more.
And yes I have made 100% a year, two years in a row thank you.

And let me teach you something. In order to learn new things an individual needs to get them from someone else and practice. And this is what I am doing.

By the way the Charts told me that Walmart Gillette and RFMD were good buys right now. RFMD was up 3 and Walmart was up 1 1/2 and Gillette was up something like 1/4, but still up none the less.

I don't care who you work for I will post anything that deals with AOL anytime I want, to anyone. People like you scare away some nice people who just want to chat and get investment advice. So do us all a favor and stop bothering everyone or at least me with such comments.

Thank You

Rob D.

KG4, everything you said about Robert Duke is true, but you have forgotten some very important facts about Robert Duke:

(1) He is only 26 years old
(2) He is the biggest AOL cheer leader thus far and we do need him at the down time for knowing someone is still up beat
(3) He is in on AOL at $26, the world of AOL knows that too, he is very famous, besides, not many people in AOL at $26, so he entitle a bit more than us
(4) He is better than some people in CNBC, he is one of us and he
starts early, one day, he will be very experienced
(5) Young people likes to brag a little, why not him?
(6) I dislike BridgePlayer more than Robert Duke because Robert Duke
is an AOL long, BridgePlayer only appears when we are down!
(7) Everyone on this board is sometimes boring and annoyed, but so
what? Have you ever been other internet boards, most of them
like ghost town, nobody is there! Robert Duke posts regularly, he is one of the reason that I like to own AOL because
he makes this chat room fun!

Are you an AOL long?
